Springtime again!

Our Summer Menu will start in a few week’s time which means once again we will be offering our salads on Tuesdays and Thursdays in addition to the other new meal choices.  We hope you enjoy the change in meal options and hope you might try one of the delicious salads as a refreshing food option for a hot summers’ day.

Newsletter – Winter 2020

Welcome to another chilly New England winter.  My goodness it has been a hectic few months here – I hope this newsletter can cover all the activities that have been happening for us all!

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone for adjusting our delivery routine to allow for social distancing and ‘no-contact’ deliveries. We are so lucky that we have been able to continue our service without any hiccups throughout autumn. We ask that our volunteers continue to please use hand sanitiser.

Secondly, a big WELCOME to all of our new volunteers and also to a large number of new and returning clients who are taking advantage of our service to help maintain healthy eating at home. (more…)

Newsletter – Autumn 2020

Greetings all! I hope you are all enjoying the respite from the heat and that whatever is left of your gardens has come back to life with recent moisture.

There has been much discussion in the media about how charities use donations. As a registered charity we have to abide by the federal laws governing how we use any donations to our organisation.  Just to clarify, any charity that receives money for a specific purpose/project/task/activity MUST use that money for that task or activity (which includes the administration of that task or activity).  Charities cannot re-deploy those funds for other purposes.  In this way donors can be sure that their funds are being used for the purpose it was intended.
