Happy 2018 to everyone!
We hope you have all had a lovely festive season, maybe enjoyed some family time, perhaps watching some cricket or tennis on the TV. We know many of our volunteer drivers have had a hectic time being grandparents over recent weeks and might be glad that school has gone back!
We have been very busy with our new chef Troy and the kitchen team prepar-ing extra frozen meals covering the public holidays and several Christmas func-tions we were delighted to host at the end of last year.
The new year is seeing plenty of activity around the place with our Solar Panels being installed—this project was funded several years ago by a grant from the Greater Building Society and it is exciting to see it come to fruition at last.
Our drivers may find there are barricades in place around the grandstands as we anticipate the repair work might be commenc-ing for the Armidale Show-ground Trust. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We received some very valuable feedback through our Client Survey last year—some meal suggestions and other excellent ideas and critiques!
We have just issued our annual Volunteer Survey, – thank you to those of you who have returned them so far. It is so helpful for the development of our or-ganisation that we get input from both our clients and our volunteers.
